The Seaford Builders Club is hosting a care package drive for the 198th Expeditionary Signal Battalion of the Delaware Army National Guard that has recently deployed. Please consider donating items these soldiers may need and also include a card or letter to show them you support. Woodbridge is coming to the High School Nest on October 11th for a Varsity Football game. We are asking those who attend the game, to wear orange, to honor former Woodbridge Quarterback, Troy Haynes who lost his battle with cancer.

October 23, 2019 @ 6pm at the High School, the CTE Advisory will be having a meeting. This meeting is to help build community relations in order to promote 21st century skills, internships/apprenticeships, and work based learning experiences in the Seaford School District. The City of Seaford has notified the contractor that no work can take place on Market between Virginia and Stein from August 23rd to September 8th. After September 8th there will not be any road work taking place between 7am-9am for students and staff arrival. Work will bake place from 9am-2pm in the area of Market Street and Virginia Avenue. There may be a few delays. The Blades bridge project is expected to be completed by next week. Please note, walkers CAN use the sidewalk portion of the bridge, which has been completed.

8th Grade students from Family Consumer Science classes attended their "Etiquette Luncheon" at Heritage Shores. Students dressed up and had a chance to practice their manners and table etiquette. They also toured the kitchen facilities and clubhouse. What an awesome "real-life" experience for our students at SMS!
